A rethought way of traveling and staying as a backpacker.

We've all been there, stuck in a much regretted hostel, thinking it was worth saving the money on. ClinkNOORD approach is simple, minimalistic, design originated while functional living for the travel on a budget.

As a certified B corp company we are really excited to hear you are joining us in the journey, can you tell us a little bit more about this and how you envision Clink's future regarding circularity?

At Clink we believe our planet is precious, and we want to do our bit to protect it for future generations. Our aim is to use our business as a force for good by reducing inequalities, creating more high-quality jobs and creating a healthier environment for all. Over the next 12-18 months we will be reviewing all areas of our business including diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.

We will also be looking at our suppliers and partners to ensure the sustainability of their practice, products, and company ethos. We’re committed to putting new practices in place that will reduce food waste and pollution and we’re exploring new methods to increase recycling, promote walking tourism and conserving
resources.

You are one of our first and strongest partnerships, and now 5 years later our relationship has
nothing but strengthened. We have done multiple trainings and events together. What has been your favourite part about our journey together?

A highlight was our "Meet the Makers" pop up brew bar where our guests could come by and sample different brews, coffee making techniques and meet the Lot61 team. Our guests had a great time and so did our team! We also love our collaborative brainstorming sessions that result in new innovative ideas for our CatalystCAFE. But most of all its great to be partnered with a company that is at the top of their game - LOT61 have a genuine interest in seeing us improve and sharing their industry knowledge with our team.

Catalyst cafe is a great meeting spot, workspace, and all-around cafe, what can we expect to see being served here in the summer?

Over the summer we will be delving into the world of ice coffee and cold brews, as well as yummy homemade ice teas, cookies and granola.

Clink is such a great and unique concept, for those out there that don't know who you are and
what you do, can you describe it to us?

At Clink it’s our mission to bring people and places together, spark curiosity in our guests and unlock a world of opportunity. Our friendly and familiar accommodation connects guests to the things that matter most and offer city explorers a unique and creative travel experience.

Apart from a more sustainable approach, what can we expect from ClinkNOORD this year?

At ClinkNOORD, as well as all our London properties, 2021 is all about social impact and re-engaging with our community. With international travel still restricted, we look forward to welcoming more Dutch guests and Amsterdam locals. We also now have licence that permits non-staying custom to pop-in for a coffee or beer and join our events, so we’ll be offering our social spaces for free to local organisations to facilitate positive impact in the city. We will also be providing free accommodation to our Shut Up & Listen charity volunteers when they work with local charities. We can’t wait to get
back to doing what we love – bringing people and places together!
